Privacy Policy

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name and email address through our sign-in system. This is used to identify you and sign you in.

Documents and information you provide. If you upload a letter or notice (for example, a PDF, photo, or Word document), the answers you give in our questionnaires, and the documents we generate for you are stored with your account. Uploaded files are stored privately and are not visible to other users.

Payment-related information. When you make a purchase, the payment is processed by Stripe. We keep a record of what you purchased, the amount, and the date, so we can show your purchase history and apply your credits. Hazel Helps does not collect or store your full card number — card details are entered in Stripe's checkout and handled by Stripe under its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy).

Basic usage information. We keep standard technical records (such as account activity) needed to operate the service.

We use your information to: provide the service you asked for (analyzing notices, generating drafts, saving your documents); process purchases and apply credits; maintain your account; respond to support requests; and keep basic records required to run the business. We do not sell your personal information.

To analyze notices and draft documents, Hazel Helps may use artificial intelligence services. This means the contents of documents you upload, the answers you provide, and drafts in progress may be sent to AI providers for processing. Please avoid uploading documents containing information you are not comfortable sharing for this purpose, such as full Social Security numbers or financial account numbers.

Your documents and answers are stored with your account and are only visible to you and to Hazel Helps administrators for maintenance purposes. Service providers that help us operate (our application platform, Stripe, and AI providers) process information only as needed to provide the service. We may also disclose information if required by law.

You can delete any of your documents at any time from the My Documents page. Deleting a document removes it from your account.

To request deletion of your account and your remaining data, contact us at hazelhelps.support@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests as required by applicable law. Please note that deleting your account also deletes your remaining document credits and, if applicable, ends your Hazel Helps Plus subscription.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access or correct your personal information. Contact us to exercise those rights.

Your information is stored on the managed infrastructure of our application platform, and access to your documents is restricted to your account. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please protect your account with a strong password and don't share your sign-in details.

Hazel Helps is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version. We encourage you to review it periodically.
